Since we posted last....

My Mom is retired! Yay! After over 40 yrs in the Knox County School system :) We threw her a successful (and sometimes stressful-ha! ) surprise party. She was very surprised and had a great time.

The decor booth in Cincy is now officially open! EVA J's (named after my grandmother) is inside the Home by Design store in West Chester, OH :) If you live in Cincy and are reading this, come and check it out! My Mom is opening her own EVA J's booth inside Nostalgia store in Knoxville, TN. So happy Mom and I share the "decorating gene" ;)

Bryan and I just celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary! :) hard to believe how time flies...we've know each other for 12 yrs!

We had a great Easter holiday...hung out with family, ate great food and most importantly celebrated Jesus' resurrection and our forgiveness for our sins!

Most of my blogs are not too exciting, but today I have some things to share that are wonderful! I feel that I have been blessed in many ways this month. I feel weird praising cause it can get taken away so fast...but I will share anyway.

First, Bryan and I are going to ITALY this Sept! :) Sooooo excited! (thats why the title of this blog says 'count ones blessings' in italian) It will be a trip of a lifetime!

Second, just in this past weekend I have been blessed emensely, praise to the Lord! 1)I have been praying (and for those praying with me I appreciate it) to find a job for the past year now, and hopefully by June I will be working!! YAY! That will bring a much needed financial relief, and worry from my heart. 2)My parents surprised me last weekend when they came to visit a day early for Easter...and brought me birthday surprises ;) It made me feel special and very loved. 3) My Mom, Dad and I went in to a home decor store here in Cincy, and come to find out they rent decor retail space for people wanting to sell things (i.e. home decor, furniture, jewelry, etc) It has been a dream of mine and my mom's to own our own businesses and open up a shop. So now we are!! As of May 1st we have our very own decor booth called EVA J's :) We are excited to see what the future holds as we start this journey together. (mom retires in may so she is going to be up here ALOT-ha! ) So two jobs in one weekend....cant beat that!!


I found myself crying and singing the song 'God is so good' to myself in the shower this week. I thought he did not hear my prayers after so long, but this time I believe he did! Bryan is excited for me in all these new opportunities, we will see where they lead and what God has in store for our lives. He has a plan and a purpose for all of us.

Enough about me....Bryan is doing very well at work. Feeling good. Starting a big project of finishing our basement. Oh and after two weeks of rain here I think he has googled how to build an Ark! ha! God blesses his life as well. He supports me and loves me for all my craziness!

Is it Spring YET?

We have finally begun to see grass and asphalt here in OH...after what seems like a really long and snowy winter this year. I know I am ready for spring!

Bryan and I just got back from a trip to Colorado. And yes I actually learned to ski--Im not great but I am proud of myself for doing it (and I didnt fall that much!) Bryan LOVES to ski and is wonderful at it, so he and the rest of the clan that went had a blast! We stayed in the most luxurious house! It is soooo beautiful in CO, especially the clear blue skies---but its soooo cold....we are glad to be back home.

I am still searching for pharm tech jobs--I applied to several this week. It is hard waiting on God's timing!! I have more weddings and events coming up so that will keep me busy. Bryan is staying busy at work and feeling good, he got a good report from the doctor :)

We had a quiet Valentine's day and ate lots of chocolate...much love to all of you!
